Norma traces its origins to 1902, when Ivar Enger found a small building in Åmotfors. The first proper factory opened in 1911 on the same site. Dynamit Nobel bought the company in 1990; today it sits within Beretta Holding. Oryx, a bonded soft point, is its all-round hunting bullet.
