The R8 is built around quick barrel changes, so one rifle can shoot several calibres. Blaser's range runs from .17 HMR to .500 Jeffery across barrels. The weight (3125 g) is for the R8 Professional 2.0 with a 52 cm barrel; barrel lengths come from Blaser's 2026 caliber overview, and standard-caliber magazines hold 3+1 rounds.
